Deaf Dog?????
My wife and I recently got a new foster dog, 11month old deaf Boxer. He is a all around great dog, house broken, sweet, doesn't startle. However, he never had any type of training. Just curious if you guys have any pointers or tips. We are starting him with sit/down/stay hand signs. But how do you train/break them from jumping up on the counters. In the past, with other dogs we used "booby traps" that would startle them if they jumped up, but since he is deaf that doesn't work. He usually does it when we are not in the room.
