Default the good, the bad, and the ugly

Why are forums such as www.dobermantalk.com allowed to display on the internet when they are constantly bashing members and being sued for slander by ethical breeders? This is certainly not in the best interest of the Doberman Pinscher breed nor is it informative to the public. Maybe controversy motivates traffic. If you want an example of what a constructive dog forum should not be, vist them and post your thoughts. Live and learn, but always keep the best interest of your dog first. You owe them this.

Thumbs up The good, the bad, and the ugly

Ref: dobermantalk.com: I so agree! Responsible dog owners that take the time, love, and effort to ENHANCE the quality of their relationship with their dogs, enrich their dogs life, and be as informed as possible with the bond they have with their dog do not need to be "bashed" by people that are sitting there in front of their computer for literally HOURS a day just waiting to pounce on people and bash their opinions and pride of ownership, THEN they further this cruelty by bashing their DOGS! I know from first hand experience that Dobermantalk.com has quite a few members that are consistant on spewing forth negativity by taking it upon themselves to think they are qualified to say anything they want, whether it be hurtful, cruel-not only to members, but to anything they may say, and even go as far as to "judge" the pictures they proudly post of their beloved pets.

Doesn't sound like any place I'd want to go. I would think the best way to deal with a forum like that is to leave. If no one posts there, there will be no one for the trolls to pounce on.

Default Good point,

I speak for many who have had very unpleasant experiences in this forum. The frenzy of bashing dogs and people is very offensive and should be the root of this forums own demise. I only hope that we can effectively serve as a collective catalyst, to the end of this unregulated collection of self appointed experts, they call a forum.

Default terrible website

I visited dobermantalk.com. It is true, they insult dogs and people there. This is very sad. I have found a great deal of useful information here. Thanks to k9forums and all your caring members.
